Privacy policy

At Unitechs we collect the minimum data needed to answer you, train you and invoice you. This page explains which data, why, and how to exercise your rights, in line with Cameroon’s Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on personal data protection.

Data collected and purposes

We never sell or rent your data.

Cookies and analytics

• Necessary cookies: your sign-in session. They cannot be refused without preventing sign-in.
• Google Analytics 4: the site uses Google’s consent mode. Until you accept, no analytics cookie is set and Google only receives anonymous, identifier-free signals. If you accept, analytics cookies are set to count visits.
• You can change your mind at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page.

Recipients

Only authorised Unitechs staff access your data. Our technical providers process it on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel), database (Prisma Postgres), email delivery (Resend) and, only with your consent, Google Analytics. Some are located outside Cameroon; we choose providers with recognised security guarantees.

Retention

• Contact requests with no follow-up: 24 months.
• Learner records and certificates: course duration plus 5 years, so certificates can be verified.
• Invoices: 10 years (accounting obligation).
• User accounts: until deleted, or after 3 years of inactivity.

Security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS), hashed passwords, training and billing data restricted to administrators, regular backups.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability. Email contact@unitechs.dev: we reply within 30 days. You may also contact Cameroon’s personal data protection authority.
