Funerals, weddings, tontines, associations: Kotiz keeps the contribution list right inside WhatsApp and Telegram. Every MTN MoMo, Orange Money or card payment is verified, the updated list is pasted back into the group, and the bot sends the reminders. Nothing to install.
The need
In WhatsApp groups, contributions are managed with a copy-pasted “list”: conflicting versions, forgeable Mobile Money screenshots, a suspected treasurer, awkward reminders, and no simple way for the diaspora to pay.
What we are building
Kotiz keeps the ritual of the list but makes it true: every payment is verified by the aggregator, the contributor receives the updated list to paste back, and the bot sends reminders instead of the treasurer. Four messages at most to contribute.
